Hammersmith & Fulham council's new selective and additional licence schemes are set to commence on 5th June this year. The designated area of the current selective licence scheme, which is about to end just before the new scheme starts, has been reduced from 128 streets in the borough to just 24 streets (the council provides a list of these 24 streets on its webpage).

Whilst advising that licence applications will be able to be made only online, the council also says that "you should apply for your selective licence within 7 days of the new scheme's start date." but doesn't make clear whether there is a penalty for not applying within that time frame.

The licence fee for both a selective licence and an additional licence is £560 with an £80 discount for those who are members of a landlord organisation such as the NRLA or of the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme or a £50 discount for landlords who have signed up to the landlord rental charter
